BATTLEFIELD
"Let us humble ourselves and learn the discipline of stopping and just standing still."
We mortals are so obsessed with ourselves, that we perceive spiritual warfare as something we do! Like fighting a wild beast, never considering the warfare going on in the heavenlies, sheds no blood, and as far as Scripture reveals, it leaves no broken bones or heavenly casualties! It is spiritual! The enemy of our souls is not nearly so concerned with our aggression, as he is with our incessant ability to stand! Inflicting injury, or taking ground in the spirit realm, requires discipline and endurance. Most believers have never come to the realization of the spirit realm, much less gained any knowledge of effectively assaulting it.
Many young Christians rush boldly into a battle, ignorant of the opposition, only to be quickly defeated by the enemy, rendering them emotionally defeated, or more dangerously, impotent and confident! Even with all the noise produced by today's militant worshippers, little is being accomplished in the heavenlies. And sadly, after the battle, these soldiers go right back to a mostly unregenerated lifestyle that disgraces the Flag and uniform of Christ. “We wrestle not against flesh and blood.” We wrestle not only on Wednesdays and Sunday nights! This is not entertainment; it is a matter of souls teetering between heaven and hell! Let us humble ourselves and learn the discipline of stopping and just standing still. Quietly listening could, most literally, be the difference in this battle. The strategy of this six-thousand-year campaign is not one the carnal Christian can grasp.
The effectiveness of the disciple-soldier is: Total surrender! Or more precisely, perfect submission to our Lord. Christ has already won this fight. Until we learn that the battle is beyond us and our senses, we are useless. And until we empty ourselves of passion, opinion, lust, and ability, we will not be equipped with the Mighty Power of God. Only when we present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable, can we see victory. Winning a battle may be as simple as spilling a cup of coffee on our best rug, but remaining undeterred in intercession, refusing to revert to the flesh. As Paul said: I will gladly go through every inconvenience imaginable, even suffering without grumbling, because I have found, when I am at my weakest, Christ can effectively display His Might through me! Amen.

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
~1 Corinthians 9:27 KJV
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
~Psalm 46:10 KJV
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
~1 Corinthians 15:57 KJV
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
~2 Corinthians 12:10 KJV

Amen! He fights our battles for us. Especially at my weakest, I must be still and know that He is God and He is working it all out for my good. I so trust Him. 🙌❤️
Aaaaaamen!!
