Before world leaders visit their counterparts in other countries, they must be briefed on how to act. Even the refined American politician could offend foreign leaders by doing something as simple as a handshake or nod of the head, if they’re not familiar with the culture of whom they’re visiting.
Likewise, Job, in his desperation to appeal to God during his time of testing, cried out, “For He is not a man, as I am, that I should answer Him.” Job admitted that he needed someone who could bridge the daunting gap of communication between them. All praises to our loving God, He has bridged that mighty gap with the humanity He assumed in the Body of Jesus Christ!
In the beginning was the Word, and that Word put on flesh and dwelt here on earth among us, so He might personally and intricately suit our fallen, corrupt nature with the holy protocol to stand confidently before His Father! He has made us accepted among the beloved! By faith in the Grace shown at the Cross, He has literally indwelt us with the Spirit of Jesus Christ, effectively writing His protocol on our hearts and minds!
Like Job, we seek and struggle in vain to touch the heart of God, but the “Daysman” Job referred to has come! At that old rugged cross Jesus imparted to us the inherent ability to touch the heart of God with our infirmities! “What a mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!”

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
~Hebrews 4:15 KJV
If I wash myself with snow water, And make my hands never so clean; Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, And mine own clothes shall abhor me. For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, And we should come together in judgment.
~Job 9:30-32 KJV
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
~John 1:14 KJV
This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, And in their minds will I write them;
~Hebrews 10:16 KJV
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
~Romans 8:9 KJV
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) [6] and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
~Ephesians 2:5-6 KJV
