ETERNAL SECURITY
"Yes, No...or Who Knows?"
A long-standing debate between factions of the church has been whether or not one can stray so far from the Father that they are no longer considered family and lose inheritance in His Kingdom. One thing is certain from Scripture, that nothing can take us away from His loving protection and security – if we are living under His Grace and provision. But what about those who come to Him, then choose in their own lusts for the world, and leave Him; even as Adam and Eve left an intimate relationship with God for the lusts and pleasure of carnal knowledge?
The most stunning thought is that man would presume on one of the most intimate attributes of God, our eternal Judge! Scholars and theologians carefully study language, context, translation and applications, and come to a very firm conclusion, yet it is contrary to another equally learned scholar.
In simplest terms, does it not seem to be “bad manners” to not only assume, but tell fellow sojourners whether the Master will extend His welcome or not, when His clear statement remains, “him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.” Some, through time, have appeared to choose to leave, after coming. In Hebrews, we’re told that it is impossible to “renew them again unto repentance.” Chilling words that should at least give us pause to consider our allegiance to the One who sacrificed His life for us.
Conclusion: I will sacrifice my body and life to the One Who sacrificed His for me, knowing, according to the “volume of the Book,” if I desire Him, I cannot be cast out nor torn away. He didn’t force me to come to Him, but I KNOW I’m His because His Love constrains me to stay.

I see people make ceremonial professions with no actual contact and no change in the life of the person professing. If given an opportunity to comment, I would counsel, in an old Minnesotan phrase, "You're walking on very thin ice." Repentance is a rare thing these days—but it is necessary.
