We’ve come to think that for doctrine to be “sound,” it shouldn’t make a sound! In some fellowships today, our reservation could almost be confused with rigor mortis!
The world is understandably unimpressed with most people’s religion, including Christianity. In a society where people lose their voices for days after attending ball games, can hardly walk after a weekend of skiing, and look with horror at credit card bills after a bout of holiday shopping, it’s sad that you can’t even tell when a Christian has been before the Throne of God!
The unending blessings of God, and our welcomed presence into Heavenly Places, either aren’t being experienced, or they fail in comparison to a good movie or a playoff. With certainty, we know it must be the former. May the reader search their heart.
There is a realm the child of God is called to, no, commanded to experience. It is the heavenly realm where the peace, love, and joy of God flourish, making Life in Christ not only glorious, but most visible to others. This is our “witness.” This is our Joy and Strength, and those finding it cannot be silenced!

For the joy of the LORD is your strength.
~Nehemiah 8:10 KJV
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
~Ephesians 2:6 KJV
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
~1 John 2:16 KJV
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
~2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
~Psalm 107:2 KJV
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing.
~Psalm 100:1-2 KJV
I miss the joyful sounds that fill our hymn books! "Sing the wondrous love of Jesus!"
There is an interesting thing i read yesterday and it made me laugh out loud but at the same time, it's so true and sad.
It said
"The closer you get to God, the weirder you get to people.
Satan's strategy is simple: make sin look normal and make righteousness look weird."
Sadly,there are so many Christians around who are happily attached to the world and don't want to look weird coz of their faith.
