When we think of waiting, it's easy to associate waiting with stop, sit, and don't move. Sometimes, that may be the case, but far more often waiting is a very spiritually aggressive strategy that the powers of darkness cannot resist!
To our natural way of thinking, especially in times of conflict, waiting seems to be just the opposite of what we want to do, but that's because of unbelief! As our knowledge of God's presence grows, so grows our confidence that He sees, and He's always working everything around us - for our good! In such cases, waiting usually seems to be the last thing we want to do.
All through Scripture, God displays His longing to prove His Love for us, and His desire to show up for those who rely on Him. What a remarkable and wonderful thought! God wants to show off His greatness in our lives! Generally, the greatest hindrance to this glorious experience is our determination to take control of the situation ourselves, impatiently jumping in to fix whatever may be wrong.
Our Father desires the Glory due Him, and He takes great pleasure in getting that Glory, exclusively, through those who literally step aside, cry out to Him, and let Him be God!
LORD, forgive me for constantly relying on my own limited, insufficient ability, always trying to prove my strength. You are the Almighty! You alone are God, and I know it. Help me humble myself and remember, I am clay in your mighty hands, and You have my future all laid out. Not my will, but Thine, Oh LORD.

Amen 🙏
Amen! Waiting can be so hard, but when we do, and let God work out His perfect will, it all works out better than we could ever have imagined. 🙌❤️
