WORSHIP HIM
"Whom have I in heaven but You?"
Lord, what gift could I give You? You are all eternal, all powerful, and all wonderful! I wonder, what are your thoughts? What are your pleasures? As a mortal, I'm not equipped to know! But praise Your Holy Name; You have equipped me to know through Your Word and Your Holy Spirit, that You have placed within me!
My cry is, "Is it for me to intercede earnestly for the political world and the nations? Would You have me dedicate my life to Your service and feed the poor? Tell me LORD, how may I stem the tide of the evil that is overcoming Your perfect creation?" His mighty reply to me is, "Everything is laid out perfectly! My pleasure unfolds before you in wars, in salvation, in joy and in pain! As for the might and importance of world leaders, their armies, and princes, they are no comparisons to hearing you, my child. Lift your voice in thanksgiving and praise!"
You have made me Yours! You made me! How could I possibly make You love me more than You do? I will rest in You, my Father. I will submit to Your goodwill and seek to rest in Your presence. Whom have I in heaven but You?
